At Emily Carr I took a class called "Perception Science" taught by David Bergman. One of our projects was an exploration of Gestalt principles. I was specifically working with the concept of multistability, in which an ambiguous image can move back and forth between different perceptions. In this case, my piece titled "Murder" shifts between a gathering of crows and an angel's silhouette. Furthermore, this illustration was meant to invoke thoughts of urbanization and mankind's influence on nature.
